Indigent widows empowered financially by Maxlife Foundation
On 10th November 2017,twenty scores of indigent widows were empowered financially by Maxlife foundation. The occasion took place at Bethany house Holy Trinity Cathedral Onitsha,Anambra State. Many dignitaries were in attendance including the founder of Maxlife foundation Her Excellency Senator Princess Stella Odua. Other dignitaries include the chairman of the foundation Very Rev Fr. Donald Uzo and Rev Fr. Johnbosco Okafor. Other guests who spoke at the occasion include Mrs Ijeooma who reminded the widows about their natural endowments while urging them to learn from the unique behaviour of eagles to inspire them into appreciating where they are inspite of what has transpired in the past. Her excellency enjoined the widows to celebrate womanhood while laying emphasis on the need to be independent and enterprising. As the occasion was being drawn into conclusion the grants were disbursed and supervised by the chairman of Maxlife foundation in the person of Very Rev Fr. Donald Uzo. The widows expressed their vote of thanks and most of them were left bewildered by her Excellency’s level of magnanimity and thank God for the generosity and love shown to them. The occasion was a real joy to behold for all lovers of equity and dignity of human person. The closing prayer was said by Rev Fr. Johnbosco Okafor and the Occasion was drawn into conclusion.
